Jackie does not start from the idea that leaders need to become someone else. She starts from what takes over when the stakes are high — and from the possibility that it can be interrupted.
A background in humanistic psychology sits underneath that view. Jackie starts from the belief that people already have the capacity to lead well — and that what gets in the way is often unconscious, reactive and entirely human. Courage into Clarity™ grew from this: the courage to see what is really happening, and the clarity to choose a different response.
